We like what we see, how do we arrange a Wedding Appointment?
You can arrange your wedding appointment by completing a Wedding Enquiry Form on our website https://www.connemaracoasthotel.ie/weddings
You are very welcome to drop by the Coast the view the venue but scheduled appointments are preferred so we can give you the time and attention you deserve.
If you cannot get to the Coast and are eager to begin your wedding planning process, you can avail of the Virtual Appointment Service whereby you will have a “Getting to know you” chat and a guided tour around the venue and grounds.
Where can we host our Wedding Ceremony?
If choosing to have your Wedding Ceremony at the Connemara Coast, you will have a plentiful supply of options. If aiming for an outdoor ceremony, we would recommend the use of the newly completed Shoreline Wedding Gazebo which has to be seen to be believed. The stunning band-stand style Gazebo has amphitheatre style seating which can accommodate 150-guests seated. You also have the option of using the Garden Terrace, of which both having panoramic views of Galway Bay & the Atlantic Ocean.
If the weather will not allow for an outdoor ceremony, use of the Aran Suite Ballroom for your ceremony is an option & includes the perfect oceanic backdrop while you say “I do…”
Where would the drinks reception be held?
Following your ceremony or arrival from the church, you and your guests will be welcomed to the hotel via a private entrance to the ballroom for your drink’s reception. Included in the ballroom is a large lobby with adjacent washroom facilities and a function bar with additional seating.
If weather prevails, the option to use the Garden Terrace for your pre-reception soiree is ideal.
What is your maximum capacity for a Wedding Reception?
The Connemara Coast Hotel can host up to 300 guests in the Aran Suite Ballroom. We also cater to intimate weddings.
Will there be another wedding on the same day?
No, the Connemara Coast Hotel offers exclusivity in the Aran Suite Ballroom to each wedding and operates a one wedding a day policy.
Can we use the Connemara Coast Hotel & grounds for our Wedding Photography?
Yes, you have unlimited opportunity for photography at the Coast and we encourage you to get the iconic wedding shots here such as on the Grand Staircase in the main lobby, beautiful shots on the grounds with the Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop or the Sunset photo on the Wedding Gazebo with the sun going down over Galway Bay.
Who will manage our wedding planning process?
From your first wedding appointment until the big day, your dedicated wedding planner will be on hand to guide you through the initial booking process and all the way through to your wedding day and everything in between.
Do you offer any special wedding accommodation rates for wedding guests?
Yes, we offer special discounts for close friends and family of the wedding couple. This number of rooms available with a discount varies on a few factors e.g. time of year, number of guests and can be discussed.
Is there car parking available for non-staying wedding guests?
Yes, we have ample (free) car parking facilities for both residents and non-residents of the hotel.
How do we select our wedding wine & menu?
Four to six weeks prior to the Wedding Day, you will visit the Coast for a romantic Wedding Menu tasting whereby you will trial numerous dishes and carefully selected wines that compliment your menu choices. Your wedding manager will organise a date and time that suits you both.
Are there options for Pre & Post wedding day celebrations?
Yes, we have numerous options for pre & post wedding day celebrations including Rehearsal Dinner’s, Afternoon Tea Parties, Wild Atlantic BBQ’s, Trad Sessions in Teach Furbo.
Do you allow a provisional hold on a particular date of interest?
Yes, we always encourage placing a hold on a date if you find one that is ideal and available. The provisional hold lasts for 2 weeks and can be extended on a discretionary basis.
