Connemara is a very popular holiday region on the west coast of Ireland, Connemara’s natural boundaries have helped to preserve many Irish traditions including traditional Irish music and the Irish Language. Gaelic (Irish) is spoken daily in large parts of Connemara with the Gaeltacht being Ireland’s largest Irish speaking area which takes in much of Connemara as well as the three Aran Islands.

The sea and the mountains are both inescapable with no part of Connemara is far from either. The combination of the mountains, the coastline and the bog lands provides visitors to the area with an ambundance of places to see and do. Places like Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, The Twelve Pins, Roundstone and Clifden.
