Galway plays host to one of Ireland's best and most loved Christmas Markets. Starting mid November this year and running to early January, the market is home to artisan food stalls and Irish made souvenirs with a wonderful display right throughout Eyre Square in Galway City Centre.
Bring the family and enjoy the festive amusements and family friendly rides followed by Hot Chocolates at one of the many stalls serving up wonderful treats. The Market is also home to a Munich style beer tent where people go to party and enjoy Christmas music, German beers and dance the night away.

The Galway Christmas Market is made up of 50 wooden chalets and features amusement rides including a 32 metre high Big Wheel, Helter Skelter and traditional Carousel along with live music performers, puppet shows, storytelling, school choirs, carol singing together with charity and community events will feature.
Food lovers can feast on a bratwurst, French pastries, pretzels or confectionery, crêpes and waffles, while beer lovers can sample a stein at the German Bierkeller, offering a range of traditional German beers, apple cider and mulled wine.
